Catherine McGuinness is a politician and public speaker in the City of London Corporation. She served as Chair of the Policy and Resources Committee, the effective political leader of the corporation, from 2017 to 2022. She is the daughter of two academics, the philosopher Brian McGuinness and the music historian Rosamond McGuinness. Her brother, Paddy McGuinness, was the Deputy National Security Adviser for Intelligence, Security, and Resilience at the Cabinet Office, 2014 to 2018.
