Sir Charles Alfred Ballance KCMG CB MVO FRCS (30 August 1856 – 9 February 1936) was an English surgeon who specialized in the fields of otology and neurotology.

Er studierte in Deutschland und am St. Thomas Hospital in London, wo er seinen Bachelor of Medicine Abschluss (MB) mit Bestnoten machte. Später wirkte er lange als Chirurg am St. Thomas. Daneben war er auch am National Hospital for the Paralysed and Epileptic am Queens Square in London, war als Armeearzt auf Malta (wo er Oberst wurde) und war für 14 Jahre Erster Chirurg der Metropolitan Police in London. Er befasste sich auch experimentell mit der Entwicklung von Narbengewebe. (de) Charles Alfred Ballance (ur. 1856 w Taunton, zm. 9 lutego 1936) – angielski chirurg. Przez większą część swojej kariery związany był z St Thomas' Hospital i z . Był pierwszym przewodniczącym . W 1933 roku nagrodzono go Medalem Listera. Bliski współpracownik Victora Horsleya, w 1887 roku brał udział w pierwszej operacji usunięcia guza rdzenia kręgowego. (pl)
