The Citroën B10 is an automobile produced by Citroën at André Citroën's factory in central Paris between 1924 and 1925. The B10 was manufactured using modern mass production technologies which were applied by Citroën and still, at this point, by no other French auto-maker; although by now, across the river Rhine, Opel were also copying the assembly line approach (and also copying one of Citroën's models).

  • Der Citroën Typ B10 ersetzte 1924 die Limousine des Citroën Typ B2. Im Wesentlichen war es ein Typ B2, der aber als erster Personenkraftwagen in Europa eine Karosserie ganz aus Stahl hatte. Der B10 war der erste Pkw in Europa, der weitestgehend in Fließbandfertigung produziert wurde. Wie der B2 wurde er von einem 4-Zylinder-Ottomotor über ein unsynchronisiertes 3-Gang-Schaltgetriebe angetrieben. Der Motor leistete 20 PS bei 2100/min mit 1452 cm³ Hubraum (Bohrung 68 mm, Hub 100 mm). Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit sank geringfügig auf 70 statt 72 km/h. Der Grundpreis betrug 25.000 Franc. Anfang 1925 folgte der Torpedo ebenfalls mit Ganzstahlkarosserie, wodurch der Preis von bisher 18.000 Franc mit Holzrahmen auf 19.000 Franc stieg. (de)
