Od roku 2007 pravidelně hostují na festivalech, např. Salzburger Festspiele (2015, 2016, 2018), Lucerne Festival či varšavský Chopin Festival, a vystupují v koncertních síních a operních domech jako Berliner Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall, Theater an der Wien, Konzerthaus Wien, BOZAR (Palais des Beaux-Arts) či Elbphilharmonie. Collegium 1704 bylo rovněž rezidenčním souborem na festivalu Oude Muziek v Utrechtu a na lipském festivalu Bachfest. - Collegium 1704 is a Czech early music orchestra and choir founded in 2005 by the Czech conductor, harpsichordist, and horn player Václav Luks. The Collegium Vocale 1704 is the affiliated vocal ensemble. Since 2007, the ensemble has been making regular guest appearances at festivals and concert halls all over Europe: the Salzburger Festspiele (2015, 2016, 2018), the Berliner Philharmonie, London’s Wigmore Hall, Vienna’s Theater an der Wien and Konzerthaus, the Lucerne Festival, BOZAR (Palais des Beaux-Arts) in Brussels, the Chopin Festival in Warsaw, Wratislavia Cantans, and the Elbphilharmonie, and it is an ensemble-in-residence at the festival Oude Muziek in Utrecht and at the Leipzig Bachfest. - Collegium 1704 is een Tsjechisch orkest en koor uit de oude muziek, opgericht door de Tsjechische dirigent, klavecinist en hoornist Václav Luks . Luks was voorheen hoornsolist van de Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. Hoewel opgericht terwijl Luks een student in Plzen was, is de zetel van het orkest Praag. | - Collegium 1704 je český barokní orchestr sídlící v Praze. Collegium 1704, stejně jako sesterský vokální soubor Collegium Vocale 1704, bylo založeno cembalistou, hornistou a dirigentem Václavem Luksem u příležitosti projektu Bach — Praha — 2005. Od roku 2007 pravidelně hostují na festivalech, např. Salzburger Festspiele (2015, 2016, 2018), Lucerne Festival či varšavský Chopin Festival, a vystupují v koncertních síních a operních domech jako Berliner Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall, Theater an der Wien, Konzerthaus Wien, BOZAR (Palais des Beaux-Arts) či Elbphilharmonie. Collegium 1704 bylo rovněž rezidenčním souborem na festivalu Oude Muziek v Utrechtu a na lipském festivalu Bachfest. Soubor se věnuje interpretaci staré hudby s převažujícím zaměřením na období vrcholného baroka, zejména díla Jana Dismase Zelenky, Johanna Sebastiana Bacha, Georga Friedricha Händela, Claudia Monteverdiho a dalších. Podílí se i na oživení zájmu o tvorbu Josefa Myslivečka. Soubor spolupracuje s řadou významných českých i mezinárodních sólistů, k nimž patří mimo jiné Magdalena Kožená, Andreas Schöll, Simona Šaturová, Martina Janková, Hana Blažíková a další. Koncerty Collegia 1704 & Collegia Vocale 1704 jsou často zaznamenávány nebo přenášeny živě evropskými televizními i rozhlasovými stanicemi jako Mezzo, ORF, Deutschland Radio Berlin, Radio France, ČRo 3 Vltava a EBU. V roce 2021 Collegium 1704 zahájilo Pražské jaro provedením Mé vlasti Bedřicha Smetany v Historicky poučené interpretaci na dobové nástroje. Collegium 1704 na tomto koncertě zastoupilo německý orchestr , který z důvodu protipandemických opatřeních na německé straně nemohl dílo nazkoušet. (cs)

Collegium 1704 specialises in Baroque music, in particular that of Jan Dismas Zelenka, Johann Sebastian Bach, Claudio Monteverdi, and Georg Frideric Handel. They also strive to promote the music of Josef Mysliveček. The ensemble cooperates with prominent soloists, both Czech and international, including Magdalena Kožená, Bejun Mehta, Simona Houda-Šaturová, Martina Janková, Hana Blažíková, Karina Gauvin, Lisandro Abadie, and others.
