The Constitutional Party (Spanish: Partido Constitucional) was one of the Spanish political parties that contended for power during the reign of Amadeo I (reigned 1870–1873) and the First Spanish Republic (1873-1874), opposing the Radical Democratic Party.

- El Partit Constitucional també anomenat Partit Conservador (de la Revolució de Setembre) va ser una agrupació política que va estar activa a Espanya a des del 1871. Es va crear després de l'escissió dels progressistes que va seguir a la mort del general Prim. El Partit Constitucional va constituir el nucli del Partit Liberal de l'època de la Restauració. L'ala dreta del Partit Progressista i diversos escindits de la Unió Liberal es van organitzar sota la prefectura del general Serrano i de Sagasta. (ca)

L'ala dreta del Partit Progressista i diversos escindits de la Unió Liberal es van organitzar sota la prefectura del general Serrano i de Sagasta. El Partit Constitucional s'alternaria en el poder amb el Partit Radical durant el breu regnat d'Amadeu I de Savoia. Durant l'any 1874, el Partit Constitucional va tenir al seu càrrec bona part de la responsabilitat del govern. En 1875, el Partit Constitucional es va dividir: els dirigits per Manuel Alonso Martínez li van oferir col·laboració a Cánovas del Castillo en l'elaboració del text constitucional, mentre que la resta del partit va seguir defensant la vigència de la Constitució de 1869, expressió de les conquestes liberals de l'any anterior. El 1880, els constitucionals s'uniren a algunes destacades personalitats polítiques i formaren el Partit Liberal Fusionista, sota el lideratge de Sagasta. (ca)

- The Constitutional Party (Spanish: Partido Constitucional) was one of the Spanish political parties that contended for power during the reign of Amadeo I (reigned 1870–1873) and the First Spanish Republic (1873-1874), opposing the Radical Democratic Party. The party was established in 1871, after the division of the Progressive Party following the death of General Juan Prim, 1st Marquis of los Castillejos. The right wing of the party, along with some members of the Liberal Union organised themselves as a party under the leadership of General Francisco Serrano, 1st Duke of la Torre and Práxedes Mateo Sagasta. The constitutionalists split up in two groups after the 1874 restoration of the monarchy. The right faction of the party, led by Manuel Alonso Martínez, accepted the new King Alfonso XII and the new Constitution, and joined the Conservative Party of Antonio Cánovas del Castillo. The rest of the party, headed by Sagasta, remained faithful to the Constitution of 1869 until 1880, when they finally accepted the new one and the turno system, establishing the Liberal Party, which contended for power opposing the Conservative Party.
