Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary is a marine sanctuary located off the coast of California. It protects an area of 1,286 sq mi (3,331 km2) of marine wildlife. The administrative center of the sanctuary is on an offshore granite outcrop 4.5 sq mi (12 km2) by 9.5 sq mi (25 km2), located on the continental shelf off of California. The outcrop is, at its closest (Point Reyes), 6 mi (10 km) from the sanctuary itself.

(en) Das Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary ist eines der 13 National Marine Sanctuaries in den Vereinigten Staaten, die ozeanische Ökosysteme in den USA beschützen und bewahren. Cordell Bank ist ein Seamount ungefähr 80 km nordwestlich von San Francisco, wo der Ozeanboden bis auf eine Wassertiefe von 37 m ansteigt. Der Seamount wurde 1853 vom U.S. Coast Survey entdeckt und wurde nach Edward Cordell, der das Gebiet 1869 völlig vermaß, benannt.
