Docusearch is an American private investigations company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. Docusearch, founded by Dan Cohn, was started in 1996. It is a subsidiary of Arcanum Investigations Inc. The company operates in all states of the US. Docusearch first gained wide media attention during Remsburg v. Docusearch litigation in 1999. The case brought to New Hampshire’s Supreme Court ruling in 2003 about data brokers' legal duty and responsibility for selling private information.
