| - Colonel Sir Donald Hamish Cameron of Lochiel, KT, CVO, KStJ, TD, JP, DL (12 September 1910 – 26 May 2004) was a British Commando, landowner, financier and the 26th Lochiel of Clan Cameron. He was known simply as Lochiel while clan chief, and in the Jacobite peerage was regarded as the 9th Lord Lochiel. Cameron served as commanding officer of the Lovat Scouts throughout the Second World War. He succeeded his father as the Lochiel of Clan Cameron in 1951, and later served as Lord Lieutenant of Inverness. His uncle was James Graham, 6th Duke of Montrose (died 1954), and his cousin, Angus Graham, 7th Duke, was a Rhodesian MP and government minister. (en)

W 1957 r. został awansowany do rangi pułkownika. Był również honorowym pułkownikiem 4/5 batalionu Cameron Highlanders (od 1958 r.), 3 batalionu (1967-1969) i 2 batalionu Highland Volunteers (1970-1975).
