Eismeer railway station (German for Ice Sea) is an underground railway station bored into the mountain Eiger on the Jungfrau Railway, which runs to the Jungfraujoch from Kleine Scheidegg. It lies at an altitude of 3,159 metres above sea level, which makes it the second highest railway station in Europe. Located just behind the south-east face of the Eiger, the station's principal purpose is to allow passengers to observe the view of the glacier Ischmeer (lit.: Ice Sea, formerly called Grindelwald-Fiescher Glacier). To that end, uphill trains stop at the station for five minutes.

- Station Eismeer is een ondergronds spoorwegstation in de Zwitserse gemeente Grindelwald op 3.160 m.ü.M. hoogte aan de zuidoostflank van de Eiger. Het station is door een 3.158 m lange tunnel van station Jungfraujoch, het eindstation van de Jungfraubahn verwijderd en is daarmee het op een na hoogst gelegen spoorwegstation van Europa. Enkel de treinen bergopwaarts stoppen in dit station. De trein blijft vijf minuten staan wat bezoekers toelaat te genieten door vensters van het uitzicht op de Grindelwald-Fieschergletscher, een zijtak van de Unterer Grindelwaldgletscher.

The building of the line this far had depleted the railway company's finances, and for the next seven years, Eismeer was to remain the upper terminus. After further fund-raising and an extended construction period, the line was extended to Jungfraujoch station in 1912 and Eismeer became an intermediate stop. Het station werd geopend als voorlopig eindstation van de spoorwegverbinding op 25 juli 1905, even over de helft van de totale bouwperiode van de Jungfraubahn die zestien jaar duurde. De uitbaters hadden eerst een bijkomende kapitaalsinjectie nodig vooraleer men verder kon werken aan het laatste gedeelte van de tunnel. Enkel de treinen bergopwaarts stoppen in dit station. De trein blijft vijf minuten staan wat bezoekers toelaat te genieten door vensters van het uitzicht op de Grindelwald-Fieschergletscher, een zijtak van de Unterer Grindelwaldgletscher.
