Il a participé deux fois à la finale des championnats du monde d'athlétisme (2001 et 2003). Ces deux mêmes années, il a fait partie des dix meilleurs performeurs mondiaux sur 400 m. Il est marié depuis le 1er décembre 2006 à Natacha Ramen Milazar une ex joueuse de volley ball et ils ont deux enfants Ericson et Erica. (fr)

- Jean Éric Milazar (* 1. Juni 1975 auf Rodrigues) ist ein mauritischer Sprinter, der sich auf den 400-Meter-Lauf spezialisiert hat. Er errang bislang drei Titel bei den Leichtathletik-Afrikameisterschaften und konnte sich in der Staffel die Bronzemedaille über 4 × 100 Meter beim Leichtathletik-Weltcup 2002 sichern. Milazar vertrat sein Land bei vier Olympischen Sommerspielen in Folge: 1996 in Atlanta, 2000 in Sydney, 2004 in Athen und 2008 in Peking. Dabei erreichte er im Jahre 2004 das Halbfinale. (de)
- Jean Éric Milazar (born June 1, 1975) is a Mauritian athlete competing in the 200 metres and 400 metres. He was born in Rodrigues and currently resides in Coromandel, Mauritius. He is married to Natacha Ramen-Milazar since 2006 an ex volleyball player and together they have two kids Ericson and Erica. With strong wits and determination, Milazar bounced back at the Abuja CAA Super Grand Prix finishing third in 45.90 in 2008. He also achieved the standards needed to qualify for the Beijing Olympic Games but, did not pass the first round of the 400 metres. (en)
