| - Ο Ευφράνορας υπήρξε ονομαστός Έλληνας καλλιτέχνης ο οποίος διακρίθηκε ως γλύπτης, χαλκουργός και ζωγράφος, ενώ συνέγραψε και βιβλίο περί συμμετρίας και χρωμάτων, με το οποίο εισήγαγε νέες αναλογίες στα σώματα και τροποποίησε τον «Κανόνα» του Πολυκλείτου. Μαζί με τον Πραξιτέλη, Λύσιππο, Λεωχάρη και τον Σκόπα συγκαταλέγεται στους κορυφαίους γλύπτες του 4ου αιώνα π.Χ.. (el)
- Eufránor de Corinto (griego antiguo Ευ'φράνωρ; vivió a mediados del siglo IV a. C.), fue tal vez el único artista griego de la antigüedad que destacó tanto en la pintura como en la escultura y la teoría, habiendo escrito un tratado sobre las proporciones. Nació en el istmo de Corinto pero ejerció en Atenas. Plutarco lo menciona como ateniense. (es)

- Eufrànor (grec antic: Eὐφράνωρ, llatí: Euphranor) fou un escultor i pintor grec, segons Quintilià un dels grans mestres de la pintura i escultura grega. Havia nascut a l'istme de Corint, però va exercir a Atenes i Plutarc el considera atenès. Va pintar un quadre de la batalla de Mantinea i per això Plini el Vell el situa vers l'any 362 aC, però segurament fou de la part final del segle iv aC. (ca)

Pliny the Elder provides a list of his works including a cavalry battle, a Theseus, and the feigned madness of Odysseus among the paintings; and Paris, Leto with her children Apollo and Artemis, and Philip and Alexander in chariots among the statues. Nach Plinius stammt er vom „Isthmos“, wahrscheinlich dem korinthischen Isthmos. Er datiert ihn in die 104. Olympiade (364–361 v. Chr.). In der antiken Literatur werden ihm zahlreiche Werke zugeschrieben, davon ist jedoch nur die fragmentierte Statue des Apollon Patroos in Athen im Original erhalten, sichere römische Kopien der anderen Bildwerke sind nicht nachweisbar. Plinio lo dice nato ad Isthmia (Nat. hist., XXXV, 128), nei pressi di Corinto e pone il floruit della sua carriera alla 104ª Olimpiade (364-361 a.C.); fu attivo principalmente ad Atene. Nel passo già citato Plinio lo ricorda anche come teorico al riguardo di argomenti relativi al colore e alla simmetria (proporzioni). (it)

Działał głównie w Atenach. Jedynym zachowanym oryginałem Eufranora jest zapewne marmurowa statua Apollina Patroosa, odkryta na agorze ateńskiej. (pl)
