I titoli sono stati infatti conquistati nel bob a due uomini dagli italiani Eugenio Monti e Renzo Alverà e nel bob a quattro dai tedeschi occidentali Hans Rösch, Alfred Hammer, Theodore Bauer e Walter Haller.
