Florian Eckert (born 1979) is a retired German alpine skier. He competed in four events each at the , , and , winning the bronze medal in slalom at the 1997 edition. At the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2001 he won the bronze medal in downhill, in addition to a 17th place in super-G. At the 2005 World Championships he finished 6th in super-G and 12th in downhill. He represented the sports club SC Lenggries.

| - Florian Eckert (* 7. Februar 1979 in Lörrach) ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Skirennläufer. Seine Spezialdisziplin war die Abfahrt. Er wuchs in Bad Tölz auf, fuhr aber für den Skiclub Lenggries und machte im Internat in Oberstdorf das Abitur. Bei seiner ersten Ski-Weltmeisterschaft 2001 in St. Anton am Arlberg wurde er hinter den beiden Österreichern Hannes Trinkl und Hermann Maier überraschend Dritter im Abfahrtslauf und gewann die Bronzemedaille. Danach konnte er seine Leistungen mit zwei zweiten Plätzen in Abfahrten in Norwegen bestätigen. Wegen einer schweren Knieverletzung, die er sich im Herbst desselben Jahres zuzog, musste er zwei Jahre pausieren. Seinen größten Erfolg konnte er bei der Ski-Weltmeisterschaft 2005 in Bormio feiern, als er im Mannschaftswettbewerb die Goldmedaille gewann und außerdem Platz sechs im Super-G und Platz 12 in der Abfahrt erreichte. Sechsmal war er Deutscher Meister in den Disziplinen Abfahrt (2), Slalom (1) und Super-G (3). Aufgrund fortwährender Knieprobleme erklärte Florian Eckert am 14. In his second race that season, he collected his first World Cup points with a 28th place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the start of the 2000–01 season he improved to a 27th place, then an 18th place in December 2000 in Val d'Isere. At the season closer in Kvitfjell, he suddenly finished 2nd in both downhill races. He finished once more among the top 10, namely 9th in November 2004 in Lake Louise. His last World Cup outing came in March 2005 in Lenzerheide. He represented the sports club SC Lenggries. (en)
