Flavius Fravitta (Greek: Φραουίττα; died 404/405) was a leader of the Goths and a top-ranking officer in the army of the Eastern Roman Empire. Fravitta was a member of the Visigoth aristocracy. He was also a pagan, and for this reason he was praised by Eunapius, a Greek historian of the 4th–5th centuries. He was loyal to the Empire for all of his life, and rose through the ranks of the army, until he reached the office of Magister militum, with the task of suppressing the revolts in the East (395).

V 80. letech 4. století se na území Thrákie Gótové rozdělili na dvě znepřátelené skupiny. První skupinu, která vyznávala ariánské náboženství a samostatnost Gótů vedl . Druhou skupinu Gótů, kteří chtěli zůstat věrni smlouvě s Východořímskou říší a přijmout římský způsob života vedl Fravitta, který stále uctíval pohanství. V roce 391 při stolování s římským císařem Theodosiem I. došlo mezi znepřátelenými vůdci k hádce při níž Fravitta zabil Eriulfa, před pomstou jeho doprovodu Fravittu ochránila císařova stráž. V roce 382 Vizigóti podepsali smlouvu s římským císařem Theodosiem I., podle kterého bylo (cs) Flavius Fravitta (Fravitus, Phrabithas; † um 402/403) war ein spätantiker römischer Heermeister (magister militum) visigotischer Abstammung. Fravitta war vornehmer Abstammung und gehörte zu den terwingischen Visigoten, die von Kaiser Theodosius I. 382 an der unteren Donau als Foederaten angesiedelt wurden. Er war damals wohl noch ein junger Mann, aber schon Stammesführer. Als im Jahr 391 einige Visigoten rebellierten, hielt Fravitta zu den Römern und kämpfte gegen den Visigoten Eriulf, der sich gegen Rom erhoben hatte. Anders als viele andere „barbarische“ Generäle germanischer Abstammung blieb Fravitta sein Leben lang dem römischen Staat gegenüber loyal, obwohl er im Laufe der Zeit auch gegen alte Stammesgenossen kämpfen musste.
