Frederik Muller or Frits Muller (22 July 1817 – 4 January 1881) was a Dutch bibliographer, book seller, and print collector. He married Gerarda Jacoba Yntema. Their son Samuel Muller Fz. became known as municipal and state archivist in Utrecht. Another son, Jacob Wijbrand Muller, was to become professor of Dutch language and literature at the University of Utrecht, and his son, Frederik Muller Jzn, would be professor of Latin at the University of Amsterdam and that of Leiden.

Muller was een zoon van Samuel Muller Hz., die op 18-jarige leeftijd uit Krefeld naar Amsterdam was gekomen om er theologie te studeren en hoogleraar was geworden aan het Doopsgezind Seminarium in Amsterdam. Frederik trouwde met Gerarda Jacoba Yntema. Hun zoon Samuel Muller Fz. werd bekend als gemeente- en rijksarchivaris te Utrecht. Een andere zoon, Jacob Wijbrand Muller, werd hoogleraar Nederlandse taal- en letterkunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht en later aan de Rijksuniversiteit Leiden. Diens zoon, Frederik Muller Jzn, werd hoogleraar Latijn aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en die van Leiden. Na zijn dood in 1881 is het antiquariaat en veilinghuis Frederik Muller & Co. tot 1961 blijven bestaan. (nl)
