Die EP Gee erschien zwei Tage später am 7. Januar. Słowa piosenki zostały napisane przez Ahn Myung-won i Kim Young-deuk. „Gee” to przede wszystkim piosenka z gatunku bubblegum pop i electropop z elementami hip-hopu oraz techno, opowiada o uczuciach zakochanej dziewczyny. Singel odniósł sukces w Korei Południowej, przez dziewięć tygodni utrzymał się na pierwszym miejscu w programie Music Bank, a także przez trzy tygodnie w programie Inkigayo. The original Korean-language version was released as a digital single from the extended play of the same name via SM Entertainment on January 5, 2009. The song was written and produced by Ahn Myung-won and Kim Young-deuk (who consist of the duo E-Tribe), with additional Japanese lyrics written by Kanata Nakamura.
