- George Miles Chilcott (January 2, 1828 – March 6, 1891) was a delegate to the United States House of Representatives from the Territory of Colorado, and a United States senator from the State of Colorado. He was born in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania near Cassville. In 1844, moved with his parents to Jefferson County, Iowa. There he studied medicine for a short time, until 1850, but adopted the life of a farmer and stock raiser. He became sheriff of Jefferson County in 1853. He died in St. Louis, Missouri on March 6, 1891. He was laid to rest in Masonic Cemetery, Pueblo, Colorado. (en)

Han flyttade 1856 till Nebraskaterritoriet och 1859 till Coloradoterritoriet. Han representerade Coloradoterritoriet som icke röstberättigad delegat i USA:s kongress 1867-1869.
