Gore Township is a civil township of Huron County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 139 at the 2000 census. Gore is a small, wedge-shaped township, consisting of only four full sections and six partial sections on the shore of Lake Huron just north of the village of Port Hope. Gore Township was established in 1862.
