The school is the oldest educational institution in Phalia, and it provides sports grounds for cricket, hockey, tennis, badminton, football, and volleyball. It also has a computer lab, electrical, wood, and metal workshops and facilities for agriculture. In the district, this is the only Government school offering residential facilities to its students. In 1995, the school provided land to establish the Government Girls Degree College Phalia. (en)
