Greek frigate Elli (F450) (Greek: Φ/Γ Έλλη) is the lead ship of the Greek Elli class of frigates and the third Hellenic Navy ship by that name. The class is based on the Royal Netherlands Navy's Kortenaer class and was built in a Dutch shipyard; however, unlike later members of its class in the Hellenic Navy, it was not originally in Dutch service, but was sold directly to Greece. The Elli took part in the Persian Gulf War from 1990–91, enforcing the UN resolution on Iraq in the neighborhood of the Red Sea.

Η Φ/Γ Έλλη κατασκευάστηκε στα ναυπηγεία Koninklijka Maatschappij de Schelde του Vlissingen της Ολλανδίας μαζί με την φρεγάτα Λήμνος ως μέρος συμβολαίου για δύο πλοία από την Ελληνική κυβέρνηση. Η παραλαβή του πλοίου έγινε στις 10 Οκτωβρίου 1981 με κυβερνήτη τον Αντιπλοίαρχο ΠΝ Γρηγόρη Δεμέστιχα. Κατέπλευσε στην Ελλάδα στις 15 Νοεμβρίου του ιδίου έτους. Η Φ/Γ Έλλη πήρε μέρος στον Πόλεμο του Κόλπου την περίοδο 1990-91, εφαρμόζοντας τις αποφάσεις του Ο.Η.Ε. για το Ιράκ στην περιοχή της Ερυθράς Θάλασσας. (el)

The class is based on the Royal Netherlands Navy's Kortenaer class and was built in a Dutch shipyard; however, unlike later members of its class in the Hellenic Navy, it was not originally in Dutch service, but was sold directly to Greece. The Elli was built at the Koninklijke Maatschappij de Schelde in Vlissingen, Holland, along with the frigate Limnos as part of a commission for the two ships from the Greek government. Her maiden voyage was on October 10, 1981 under her first captain, Grigoris Demestihas. She arrived in Greece on November 15 of that year. The Elli took part in the Persian Gulf War from 1990–91, enforcing the UN resolution on Iraq in the neighborhood of the Red Sea. (en)

De naam is afkomstig van de . In de buurt van deze kaap heeft de Griekse marine een zeeslag gewonnen van de Turkse marine. Het schip werd op 10 oktober 1981 in Nederland in Griekse dienst genomen waarna het onder commando van commandant G. Desmetiha naar Griekenland voer.
