Der dreiachsenstabilisierte Satellit ist mit 66 fest ausgerichteten Ka-Band- und 4 ausrichtbaren Ka-Band-Transpondern ausgerüstet und soll von der Position 33,5° West aus Afrika und Europa mit Telekommunikationsdienstleistungen versorgen.
