| - Una matriz Halbach (del inglés: Halbach Array) es una combinación especial de imanes permanentes dispuestos para reforzar el campo magnético a un lado de la matriz mientras que elimina por interferencia el campo magnético en el lado opuesto. En la ilustración, el campo magnético se fortalece en el lado inferior y queda casi anulado en el lado superior. El diseño (en la parte frontal, la derecha arriba, la izquierda abajo) puede continuar hasta el infinito sin ningún problema. Es un proceso similar a la disposición de los imanes en forma de herradura dispuestos alternativamente con la polaridad invertida. (es)

En el dibuix, el camp magnètic s'enforteix en el costat inferior i s'anul·la en el costat superior. El disseny (a la part frontal, la dreta a dalt, l'esquerra a baix) pot continuar fins a l'infinit sense cap problema. - Ein Halbach-Array ist eine spezielle Konfiguration von Permanentmagneten. Sie ermöglicht, dass sich der magnetische Fluss an ihrer einen Seite fast aufhebt, auf der anderen Seite jedoch verstärkt. Benannt ist eine solche Anordnung nach Klaus Halbach, damals Wissenschaftler am Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Halbach stellte 1980 als erster ein Bauteil (einen 16-teiligen Quadrupol) dieser Art vor. Viele Fachautoren schreiben jedoch die Erstveröffentlichung John C. Mallinson zu, der diesen Effekt bereits 1973 unter der Bezeichnung „one-sided flux“ (dt. „einseitiger Fluss“) beschrieb. (de)
- A Halbach array is a special arrangement of permanent magnets that augments the magnetic field on one side of the array while cancelling the field to near zero on the other side. This is achieved by having a spatially rotating pattern of magnetisation. The rotating pattern of permanent magnets (on the front face; on the left, up, right, down) can be continued indefinitely and have the same effect. The effect of this arrangement is roughly similar to many horseshoe magnets placed adjacent to each other, with similar poles touching. (en)

- De Halbach-array is een bijzondere rangschikking van permanente magneten, die de magnetische flux "vervormt". Aan de ene kant wordt het magnetisch veld tot twee keer zo sterk, aan de andere kant neemt het echter af. Hoe langer de rangschikking, hoe sterker dit effect wordt. Halbach-arraymagneten worden in diverse toepassingen gebruikt, zoals:
* koelkastmagneet
* lineaire inductiemotor
* magnetische koppelingen
* magnetische wervelstroomrem (nl)
- Магнитная сборка Хальбаха — особая конфигурация постоянных магнитов, характеризующаяся тем, что магнитное поле с одной из её сторон практически полностью отсутствует благодаря особому расположению элементов сборки. Описываемый эффект воспроизводится повторением последовательности магнитных элементов вектором намагниченности (на передней поверхности) влево, вверх, вправо, вниз, влево. Эффект был открыт в 1973 году и был назван им удивительным, что, тем не менее, не помешало ему распознать в нём способ потенциального улучшения свойств и качеств записи на магнитную ленту. (ru)
