| - Haringhuizen (West Frisian: Heringhúze) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 11 km north of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned in 1344 as Heringhehusen, and means "settlement of the people of Here (person)". The Dutch Reformed church was built around 1470 on a terp (artificial living hill). It was damaged by the English in 1799. In 1808, the northern aisle was demolished and the choir was restored in 1842. (en)

- Haringhuizen is een dorp in de gemeente Hollands Kroon in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Holland. Het is eeuwenlang een tweelingdorp geweest met Barsingerhorn; deze twee dorpen vormden samen ooit de stad Barsingerhorn. Op 1 januari 2007 waren er 110 inwoners, die bijna allemaal aan dezelfde straat wonen. Sinds 2005 staan er nieuwbouwwoningen aan de Muggenburgerweg. In 2018 was het inwonertal gestegen naar 190. In 2021 had het dorp 195 inwoners. (nl)
