- هيلدا ريكس نيكولاس اسم عائلتها بالولادة ريكس، وصار لاحقًا رأيت ، وُلدت في مدينة بالارات الفيكتورية، ( 1سبتمبر 1884) توفيت في (3 أغسطس 1961) وهي فنانة أسترالية.درست على يد الانطباعي الأسترالي البارز فريدريك ماكوبين، في المعرض الوطني لمدرسة فيكتوريا للفنون من 1902 حتى 1905 وكانت عضوًا مبكرًا في جمعية ملبورن للرسامات والنحاتات. عقب وفاة أبيها في1907 ، سافرت ريكس ونسيبتها الوحيدة إلسي وأمها إلى أوروبا حيث درست دراسة إضافية أولًا في لندن ثم في باريس. تضمن مدرسوها في هذه الفترة جون هاسال وريتشارد إميل ميلر وثيوفيل ستاينلين. - Hilda Rix Nicholas (née Rix, later Wright, 1 September 1884 – 3 August 1961) was an Australian artist. Born in the Victorian city of Ballarat, she studied under a leading Australian Impressionist, Frederick McCubbin, at the National Gallery of Victoria Art School from 1902 to 1905 and was an early member of the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors. Following the death of her father in 1907, Rix, her only sibling Elsie and her mother travelled to Europe where she undertook further study, first in London and then Paris. Her teachers during the period included John Hassall, Richard Emil Miller and Théophile Steinlen. (en)

Formée entre 1902 et 1905 auprès d'un impressionniste australien de premier plan, Frederick McCubbin, à la National Gallery of Victoria Art School, elle devient l'une des premières artistes membres de la Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors. Après la mort de son père en 1907, accompagnée de sa sœur Elsie et de sa mère, elle se rend en Europe où elle poursuit ses études artistiques, d'abord à Londres puis à Paris. Elle compte parmi ses professeurs John Hassall, Richard E. Miller et Théophile Alexandre Steinlen. (fr)
