In Greek mythology, Homados (Ancient Greek: Όμαδος) was the personification of battle-noise—the shouts and cries of men and the clashing of weapons. He was probably numbered amongst the Makhai, the daimones of the battlefield.

Les centaures symbolisaient la violence des désirs bestiaux conduisant à l'ivresse et au viol ; Homados ressemble en cela à Eurytion et aux autres centaures qui essaient d'enlever Hippodamie ou à Nessos qui cherche à violer Déjanire.
