The Honda VFR750R, model code 'RC30', is a fully faired, solo-seat-only racing motorcycle created for homologation purposes for the World Superbike Championship by Honda Racing Corporation (HRC). It was first released to the Japanese market in 1987, released in Europe in 1988 then the United States in 1990. There were only 3,000 made and they sold for US$15,000 (equivalent to $31,100 in 2021) - a very large amount for a production bike at the time.

  • La VFR 750 R RC30 est un modèle de moto sportive, construite par la firme japonaise Honda. La RC30 est présentée à l'occasion de la course d'endurance des 8 heures de Suzuka le 26 juillet 1987. Elle reprend l'esthétique de la RVF qui écume les circuits. Elle utilise le moteur de quatre cylindres en V de la VFR 750 F, retravaillé pour offrir plus de puissance. Les carters sont en magnésium pour gagner en légèreté. Les bielles sont fabriquées en titane. Le monobras oscillant en aluminium est un héritage du partenariat entre Honda et ELF. (fr)
