Howard Earl Freigau (August 1, 1902 – July 18, 1932), nicknamed "Ty", was an American professional baseball third baseman and shortstop. He played seven seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) between 1922 and 1928 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Robins, and Boston Braves. The 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m), 160 lb (73 kg) Freigau batted and threw right-handed. Freigau's 537 big-league hits included 99 doubles and 25 triples, as well as 15 home runs.
