Hungrel Gewog (Dzongkha: ཧཱུྃ་རལ་) is a gewog (village block) of Paro District, Bhutan. In 2002, the gewog had an area of 3.6 square kilometres and contained 17 villages and 247 households. The Gewog is divided into 5 chewogs: , , , and . 78% of the households have piped drinking water facilities and over 100 households have electricity connections. The economy is based on agriculture, mainly the dry and wetland cultivation of paddy, wheat, potatoes, apples and dairy products.

An staatlichen Einrichtungen gibt es neben der Gewog Verwaltungeine medizinische Beratungsstelle (Outreach Clinic) sowie ein Büro zur Entwicklung erneuerbarer natürlicher Ressourcen (RNR, Renewable Natural Resource centre).Zu den Schulen im Gewog zählt eine weiterführende Schule, eine Lower Secondary School.Der Gewog ist vollständig vom Mobilfunknetz abgedeckt. Trockenfeldbau ist die vorherrschende Anbauform, gefolgt von Nassfeldbau (wetland cultivation). Die wichtigsten Feldfrüchte sind Weizen und Reis, als Cash Crops werden Kartoffeln und Äpfel angebaut. Der Viehbestand besteht hauptsächlich aus heimischen Rinderarten. Molkereiprodukte werden vorwiegend für den Eigenbedarf erzeugt. Insgesamt gibt es in diesem Gewog 11 buddhistische Tempel (Lakhangs),die sich in Staats-, Gemeinde- oder Privatbesitz befinden. (de)
