Ignatius Mouradgea d'Ohsson (31 July 1740 – 27 August 1807) was an Armenian orientalist, historian and diplomat in Swedish service. In 1768 he was supreme interpreter, in its subsequent elevation to the Swedish nobility, he participated in the French-sounding names d'Ohsson. Abraham Constantin Mouradgea d’Ohsson, author of a famous History of the Mongols, was his son. He lived many years in France.

Mouradgeas far var tolk vid svenska konsulatet i Smyrna. Sonen anställdes 1768 som dragoman vid svenska beskickningen i Konstantinopel, fick fullmakt som diplomatisk sekreterare 1780 och adlades samma år. År 1791 blev han legationsråd och var 1795-99 Sveriges minister i Turkiet. 1799 tog han avsked som minister plénipotentiaire. Han publicerade i Paris ett praktverk om osmanska riket, Tableau général de l'empire othoman (3 band, 1787-1820). Hans son Abraham Konstantin Mouradgea d'Ohsson ombesörjde den sista delens utgivning. Sein Vater war Dolmetscher an der schwedischen Botschaft und sein Sohn folgte ihm in dieser Karriere. 1768 wurde er Oberster Dolmetscher, bei seiner späteren Erhebung in den schwedischen Adelsstand nahm er den französisch klingenden Namen d’Ohsson an. Er lebte viele Jahre in Frankreich. (de)

Era nato come Ignatius Muradcan Tosunyan da una famiglia cattolica. Suo padre era un traduttore presso il consolato svedese di Smirne, e suo figlio gli succedette in questa carriera. Suo figlio fu impiegato nel 1768 presso l'Ambasciata svedese a Costantinopoli. Nel 1768 divenne capo-interprete, elevato poi allo status nobiliare di cavaliere della nobiltà svedese, prendendo il nome dal suono francese di "d'Ohsson". È divenuto poi segretario d'ambasciata presso la medesima Ambasciata nel 1780 e fu nominato cavaliere nello stesso anno. (it)
