- International Aero Engines AG (IAE) ist ein Zusammenschluss von ursprünglich fünf Unternehmen mit dem Ziel, das V2500, ein neues Triebwerk in der mittleren Schubklasse für die Airbus-A320-Familie zu entwickeln. Am 12. Oktober 2011 gab Rolls-Royce bekannt, seine Anteile an IAE für 1,5 Milliarden Dollar an Pratt & Whitney zu verkaufen. Rolls-Royce behält aber weiterhin die Verantwortung für seine entsprechenden Komponenten am Triebwerk und auch für 50 % der Endmontage.
