Ita was an Ancient Egyptian king's daughter who lived in the 12th Dynasty around 1850 BC. She is known from the statue of a sphinx found in Qatna in modern Syria. The statue is today in the Louvre (AO 14075). On this statue she bears the titles noblewoman (iryt-p`t) and king's daughter of his body. She is perhaps further known from her burial next to the pyramid of king Amenemhat II at Dahshur. The burial was found intact and contained a decorated wooden coffin with longer religious texts including her name and a set of precious personal adornments, including a richly adorned dagger. It is uncertain whether both women are identical. The location of the tomb might indicate that she was a daughter of Amenemhat II.

La peça es troba avui al Museu del Louvre (AO 14075). En aquesta figura porta els títols de "Dona noble" (iryt-p`t) i "Filla del Rei del seu cos". Hi ha un enterrament al costat de la piràmide del rei Amenemhet II a Dashur que pertany també a una princesa anomenada Ita. L'enterrament es va trobar intacte i contenia un taüt de fusta decorat amb textos religiosos i el seu nom, i un conjunt d'ornaments personals preciosos (un collar, polseres, tormelleres i una daga ricament adornada. També hi van trobar altres objectes, com ara la figura d'una oreneta, un fuet i una maça cerimonials. A la tomba només hi ha inscrit el títol de "Filla del Rei". Tanmateix no està clar si ambdues dones diguin la mateixa persona, ja que l'estàtua de Qatna data estilísticament del temps del rei Sesostris I o Amenemhet II, mentre que la tomba podria ser molt posterior. Si fos la mateixa Ita, la ubicació de la tomba podria indicar que era filla d'Amenemhet II. (ca)

Eine gleichnamige Königstochter ist auch von einem Grab in Dahschur bekannt. Das Grab wurde unberaubt aufgefunden und der Name der Prinzessin war auf dem Sarg erhalten. Hier trägt sie nur den Titel Königstochter. Im Grab fanden sich Modelwerkzeuge, eine Kiste mit Steingefäßen mit den sogenannten heiligen Ölen und ein Weihrauchbrenner aus Bronze. Im Sarg fanden sich noch zahlreiche Schmuckstücke (ein Halskragen, aber auch Arm- und Fußbänder), die Figur einer Schwalbe, eine Geißel, eine Schlagkeule und auch ein Prunkdolch. Es ist unsicher, ob beide Belege zur selben Person gehören. Die Statue aus Qatna datiert stilistisch unter König Sesostris I. oder Amenemhet II., während das Grab eventuell viel später anzusetzen ist.
