Jacob van Oost the Younger (1639–1713 in Bruges), was a Flemish Baroque painter. According to the Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie, he was a pupil of his father Jacob sr. and brother to the painter . He is known for portraits and genre works.

Kontynuował osiągnięcia swego ojca. Tworzył dzieła religijne w konwencji późnego baroku, głównie sceny z Nowego Testamentu i żywotów świętych. Kopiował też dzieła uznanych twórców, w tym Antoona van Dycka. Był także utalentowanym portrecistą. Jego dzieła charakteryzują się żywą kolorystyką, subtelnym duktem pędzla i troską o wierne oddanie detalu (np. tkanin i futer). (pl)
