| - Jacques Plumain (born August 14, 1973), known as The Ghost of Kehl (French: Fantôme de Kehl), is a French suspected serial killer who was convicted of killing two women in Germany and France from 1999 to 2001, but is considered a suspect in three others, being acquitted for one and never brought to trial for the other two. In 2005, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a 30-year security period, which was later reduced to 20 years on appeal. After serving out the minimum required sentence, he was paroled in January 2021. (en)

Il a également été soupçonné de deux autres meurtres, commis en janvier et juillet 1999, dont il a bénéficié d'une ordonnance de non-lieu. Jacques Plumain a été condamné en France le 3 juin 2005 à 30 ans de réclusion criminelle ; en appel il a été condamné à la réclusion criminelle à perpétuité assortie d'une peine de sûreté de 20 ans.
