- Nisshin (japanisch 日進, auch als Nissin transkribiert) ist der Name eines Panzerkreuzers der der Kaiserlich Japanische Marine aus dem 1. Jahrzehnt des 20. Jahrhunderts. Gebaut wurde das Schiff auf der Ansaldo-Werft nach den Plänen der der Regia Marina. Zunächst von dieser als San Rocco im Jahr 1901 bestellt, wurde er im Jahr darauf unter dem Namen Mariano Moreno an Argentinien verkauft. Doch die abnehmenden Spannungen mit Chile und finanzielle Nöte zwangen die Argentinier zum Verkauf des Schiffes. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt gab es Spannungen zwischen dem Kaiserreich Japan und dem russischen Zarenreich. Die Argentinier boten das Schiff beiden Parteien an, letztendlich erwarben es die Japaner. (de)
- Nisshin (日進), also transliterated as Nissin, was a Kasuga-class armored cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy, built in the first decade of the 20th century by Gio. Ansaldo & C., Sestri Ponente, Italy, where the type was known as the Giuseppe Garibaldi class. The ship was originally ordered by the Royal Italian Navy in 1901 as San Rocco and sold the next year to the Argentine Navy who renamed her Mariano Moreno during the Argentine–Chilean naval arms race, but the lessening of tensions with Chile and financial pressures caused the Argentinians to sell her before delivery. At that time tensions between the Empire of Japan and the Russian Empire were rising, and the ship was offered to both sides before she was purchased by the Japanese. (en)

- Nisshin (日進) – krążownik pancerny japońskiej cesarskiej marynarki wojennej typu Garibaldi. Jego okrętem bliźniaczym w marynarce cesarskiej był „Kasuga”. Stępkę pod budowę okrętu położono w roku 1902, wodowano go w 1903 roku, a wszedł do służby japońskiej 7 stycznia 1904 roku. Okręt ten aktywnie służył przede wszystkim w trakcie wojny japońsko-rosyjskiej (w latach 1904–1905). M.in. w październiku 1904 roku wziął aktywny udział w bitwie na Morzu Żółtym, a w maju 1905 roku w bitwie pod Cuszimą. Bez akcji bojowych służył później podczas I wojny światowej patrolując Ocean Spokojny i Morze Śródziemne. Od 1921 roku służył jako okręt obrony wybrzeża, a w 1927 roku stał się okrętem szkolnym Akademii Morskiej w Yokosuce. Wycofany ze służby został w roku 1935 i rok później zatopiony został jako okręt (pl)
