Jeong Han Kim (Korean: 김정한; born July 20, 1962) is a South Korean mathematician. He studied physics and mathematical physics at Yonsei University, and earned his Ph.D. in mathematics at Rutgers University. He was a researcher at AT&T Bell Labs and at Microsoft Research, and was Underwood Chair Professor of Mathematics at Yonsei University. He is currently a Professor of the School of Computational Sciences at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study.

- 김정한(1962년 7월 20일~)은 대한민국의 수학자이다. 연세대학교에서 물리학과 수리물리를 전공하였고, 미국 러트거스 대학교(뉴저지 주립 대학교)에서 수학으로 박사학위를 받았다. 그 후 카네기 멜론 대학, 벨 연구소, 마이크로소프트 리서치를 거쳐 연세대학교 수학과 교수로 재직하다가 2013년부터 고등과학원 수학부 교수로 재직하고 있다. 연구 분야는 조합론과 계산수학이며 주요 연구 업적으로는 램지의 정리에서 R(3,t)의 값이 의 점근식을 가진다는 것을 증명한 것 이 널리 알려져있다. 이 업적으로써 1997년 풀커슨 상을 수상하였다. 2008년 10월부터 국가수리과학연구소 소장으로 재직하였으나 2011년에 연구비 유용 혐의로 경찰에 송치되어 교육과학기술부에서 해임되었다. 검찰이 배임 혐의에 대해 기소유예, 업무상 횡령 혐의에 대해 무혐의 처분을 하여 성급한 해임에 대한 논란이 있었다. His best known contribution to the field is his proof that the Ramsey number R(3,t) has asymptotic order of magnitude t2/log t. He received the Fulkerson Prize in 1997 for his contributions to Ramsey theory. In 2008, he became president of the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences of South Korea and was also awarded the Kyung-Ahm Prize. He was discharged of the position in 2011 after being accused of having allegedly misappropriated research funds. However, he was found not guilty by prosecution's investigation. (en)
