Joseph John Brovia (February 18, 1922 – August 15, 1994) was an American professional baseball player. An outfielder, Brovia played almost 1,800 games over 15 seasons in minor league baseball but only 21 games as a pinch hitter at the Major League level with the 1955 Cincinnati Redlegs. The native of Davenport, California, threw right-handed, batted left-handed, and was listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) tall and 195 pounds (88 kg). He graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1940. After his shot with the Redlegs, he played the next season in Mexico, after which he retired.
