John of Ibelin (c. 1211–1258), commonly called John of Arsuf, was the lord of Arsuf from 1236 and Constable of Jerusalem from 1251. He was a younger son of John I of Beirut. His elder brother, Balian, inherited Beirut. He served as regent of Jerusalem on two occasions: 1253–1254 for Conrad II and 1256–1258 for Conrad III. He was lieutenant for the regent on three occasions: 1247–1248 and 1249–1252 for Henry I of Cyprus and 1258 for Plaisance of Antioch.

Mit ihr hatte er zwei Söhne, Guido und Balian. 1241 verstärkte er die Befestigungsanlagen von Arsuf. En 1228 ou 1229, il est envoyé en otage à la cour de Frédéric II, empereur germanique qui lui promet un fief en Pouilles. Mais il préfère revenir en Terre Sainte et en 1232, il fait partie des forces chypriotes qui combattent l'armée impériale de Riccardo Filangieri au siège de Beyrouth, puis à la .Il hérite de la seigneurie d'Arsouf de sa mère. En 1247, le roi Henri Ier de Chypre, le nomme connétable et bailli du royaume de Jérusalem. Il meurt à Jérusalem en 1258. (fr)
