| - The Jurahareswarar temple (also called Jvarahareswara temple) is located in the temple town of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu, India. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is dedicated to Shiva, who is worshipped as Jurahareswarar. The temple is believed to have been built by Pallava King Narasimhavarman II (Rajasimhan) (r. 690–725 CE) in the early 8th century CE, with later contributions from Medieval Cholas. Another view states that the temple was built during the reign of Chola king Kulottunga III (1178–1218 CE). The temple is open from 6 am to 12 pm and 3pm to 8:30 pm. In modern times, the temple is maintained and administered by the Archaeological Survey of India. (en)
