Kleaster Anjum or Kleaster Eanjum (Dutch: Klooster Anjum or Anjum) is a hamlet in Waadhoeke in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. Until 1963, it had a status of village. Kleaster Anjum is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Berltsum. The hamlet has place name signs. The hamlet was first mentioned in 1275 as Aninghum. Kleaster (monastery) has been added to distinguish from Anjum. The monastery Maria's Berg was founded at the site around 1256. It was dissolved in 1580.

Nowadays, it consists of about 20 houses. Het is vernoemd naar het klooster Mariënberg dat hier in de middeleeuwen heeft gestaan. Het ligt ten zuiden van Minnertsga, tussen Ried en Berlikum, waar het formeel onder valt. De bewoning van de buurtschap ligt verspreid in de Kloosterpolder. aan de Kleaster Eanjum en de Kleasterdyk, die naar het zuiden verder loopt naar Slappeterp. Het klooster Mariënberg, van de augustijner koorheren kwam na de Reformatie in Friesland aan de provincie en werd toen afgebroken. Klooster Anjum was lang een zelfstandig dorp, in 1275 werd het vermeld als Aninghum. In 1325 als Avinghnon, in 1338 als Gaemmynghum, in 1423 als Aninghen en in 1478 als Aneynum. De eigenlijke plaatsnaam zou verwijzen naar het feit dat het een woonplaats (heem/um) was van of gesticht door de familie Aninga. In de 19e eeuw verschijnt de eerste keer de toevoeging 'Klooster', ter onderscheiding van het dorp Anjum. Er is dan al geen sprake meer van een echt dorp. (nl)
