Kourites (Greek: Κουρήτες) is a village and a former municipality in the Rethymno regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Amari, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 125.738 km2 (48.548 sq mi). Population 3,058 (2011). The seat of the municipality was in .

Havia sido criado pela Lei 2539/1997 (plano Capodístria) contando originalmente com doze distritos municipais: Agía Parasceví, Ágios Ioánnis, Apodúlo, Vizári, Curútes, Lambiótes, Lochriá, Nítavris, Petrochóri, Platánia, Plátanos e Furfurás. Em censo de 1991 contava com 2 668 habitantes. Segundo o de 2011, 3 014. Desde a reforma governamental de 2011, o município tornou-se uma do município de Amári, juntamente com o antigo município de Sivrítos. (pt)
