The Kulturfinger is the nickname of a steel-framed tower built during the days of the communist German Democratic Republic that is the tallest building in Neubrandenburg, Germany. It is part of the Haus der Kultur und Bildung (German for House of Culture and Education) or HKB, the city's cultural institution.

| - Das Haus der Kultur und Bildung (HKB) ist ein kulturelles Veranstaltungszentrum in Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Deutschland). Er beheimatet seit 2014 die Regionalbibliothek, einen Veranstaltungssaal, die Touristen- und Stadtinformation, zwei Café-Restaurants, ein Modekaufhaus sowie mehrere Büros. Der im Zentrum der Stadt nördlich des Marktplatzes gelegene Gebäudekomplex ist ein typisches Exemplar der schlichten modernistischen DDR-Architektur der 1960er Jahre. Die historischen Ausmaße des Marktplatzes wurden dabei eingeschränkt, das HKB wurde als einer von wenigen Neubauten ungeachtet des mittelalterlichen Grundrisses der Stadt mit seinen jahrhundertelang bestehenden Sichtlinien gebaut. Das 56 Meter hohe Turmhochhaus an der Südseite des Komplexes gehört zu den das Stadtbild prägenden Bauten, er überragt beabsichtigterweise das Baufeld des einstigen fürstlichen Palais. Das auch „HKB-Turm“ oder „Kulturfinger“ genannte Hochhaus ist nach dem 90 Meter hohen Turm der gotischen Marienkirche Neubrandenburgs höchstes Bauwerk. Der gesamte Komplex wurde bis 2014 für rund 44 Millionen Euro umfassend mit Steuergeldern saniert, weist aber auch im Jahr 2017 noch keinen profitablen Vermietungsstand auf. The 56-m, 16-story mixed-use socialist realist building was designed by Neubrandenburg chief architect , who had studied under East Germany's prominent architect Hermann Henselmann. Along with the adjacent theater, also designed by Grund, it opened on July 17, 1965. The building was renovated in the 1990s, following German reunification. (en)

La tour haute de 56 mètres au sud du complexe est un élément important du paysage urbain local, dominant intentionnellement le site de construction de l'ancien palais princier. Le gratte-ciel, également connu sous le nom de « tour HKB » ou « Kulturfinger », est le plus haut bâtiment de Neubrandenburg, après l'église Sainte-Marie haute de 90 mètres. (fr)
