The Lacus Iuturnae, or Lacus Juturnae or Spring of Juturna, is the name of a formal pool built by the Romans near a spring or well in the Roman Forum. The pool was part of a shrine dedicated to the water nymph Juturna, and the name Lacus Iuturnae is also used for the spring and the shrine, both next to the pool. The site was initially excavated by Giacomo Boni in the early twentieth century. Excavations from the 1980s onwards were supervised by Eva Margareta Steinby.

Tvillingarna Castor och Pollux, söner till Jupiter och Leda, skall enligt legenden ha deltagit i slaget vid Regillus på romarnas sida. Efter slaget vattnade de sina hästar på Forum Romanum och meddelade romarna den segerrika utgången. Det skedde vid Juturnas källa, belägen mellan Dioskurernas tempel och Palatinen. Här finns nu resterna av en bassäng och en liten helgedom, rekonstruerad på 1950-talet. Inskriptionen lyder: M ⋅ BARBATIVS ⋅ POLLIOAED ⋅ CVRIVTVRNAI ⋅ SACRVM ⋅ RESTPVTEAL (sv)

* Marmorfragmente der Dioskuren mit ihren Pferden, die im Becken der Juturna-Quelle gefunden wurden. Die Skulpturen wurden gegen Ende des 2. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. angefertigt und sind zurzeit im Tempel des Romulus auf dem Forum Romanum ausgestellt.
