Nasqué a la província d'Ise, fou amant del príncep Atsuyoshi i concubina de l'emperador Uda; el príncep Yuki-Akari fou fill d'ella i de l'emperador. She was born to of Ise Province, and eventually became the lover of the and a concubine to Emperor Uda; her son by him was Prince Yuki-Akari.
