Landscape with the Good Samaritan is a 1638 oil-on-oak-panel painting by Rembrandt. It is one of only six oil landscapes by the artist and with The Girl in a Picture Frame and The Scholar at the Lectern, it is also one of only three Rembrandt paintings in Polish collections. It shows the parable of the Good Samaritan from the Gospel of Luke.

Εικονογραφεί την παραβολή του Καλού Σαμαρείτη από το Κατά Λουκάν Ευαγγέλιον. Ωστόσο, το βιβλικό θέμα είναι δευτερεύον, με την έμφαση να δίνεται στη σύνθεση ενός ατμοσφαιρικού τοπίου. Το έργο αγοράσθηκε σε μια δημοπρασία στο Παρίσι από τον , ο οποίος έζησε μετά πολλά χρόνια στην Πολωνία, και έτσι ο πίνακας πέρασε στην κατοχή της Πολωνίδας πριγκίπισσας και συλλέκτριας Ιζαμπέλα Τσαρτορίσκα. Η συλλογή της Τσαρτορύσκα μεταφέρθηκε αργότερα από τον «Γοτθικό Οίκο» της του στην Κρακοβία και εξαιτίας αυτού υπήρξε ένας από τους ζωγραφικούς πίνακες που λεηλατήθηκαν από τους Γερμανούς το 1939. Μετά τον Β΄ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο, χάρη σε έρευνες του ιστορικού της τέχνης Κάρολ Εστρέιχερ, επιστράφηκε και σήμερα εκτίθεται στο Μουσείο Τσαρτορίσκι της Κρακοβίας. Ο πίνακας αποτελεί πλέον δημόσια περιουσία, καθώς τον Δεκέμβριο του 2016 το συγκεκριμένο μουσείο με ολόκληρη τη συλλογή του πουλήθηκαν στο πολωνικό κράτος έναντι 100 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ.
* Με τον ίδιο τίτλο υπάρχει και ένας πίνακας του Φλαμανδού ζωγράφου Φρανς Μόστερτ (1528-1560), το μοναδικό υπογεγραμμένο έργο του συγκεκριμένου καλλιτέχνη που σώζεται. Αυτό εκτίθεται σήμερα στο Βασιλικό Μουσείο Καλών Τεχνών της Αμβέρσας. (el)

It shows the parable of the Good Samaritan from the Gospel of Luke. It was bought at a Paris auction by Jean-Pierre Norblin de La Gourdaine and therefore passed into the Polish noblewoman Izabela Czartoryska's collection at the Dom Gotycki at Puławy. That collection was later moved to Krakow and so it was one of several painting looted by the Germans in 1939. After World War Two, thanks to research by the art historian Karol Estreicher, it was returned to Krakow and is now in the city's Czartoryski Museum. (en)
