Le Temps is a Tunisian French-language daily newspaper published in Tunis since 1 June 1975. It was founded by Habib Cheikhrouhou (1914–1994) who previously launched the Arabic-language daily in 1951. Le Temps caused controversy during the Ramadan in 1975 when it featured a book entitled The True Image of Islam written by Slaheddine Kechrid. The book presented a conservative approach to Islam.

Il est fondé par Habib Cheikhrouhou qui lance également le quotidien arabophone Assabah. Deuxième quotidien de langue française du pays, Le Temps se définit comme un « quotidien indépendant ». Le 17 août 2012, le quotidien publie un encart blanc, barré du mot « éditorial » sur sa une, pour protester contre la nomination par le gouvernement d'un nouveau directeur général à la tête du groupe auquel il appartient.
