Seitdem veröffentlichte Lee zahlreiche Solo-Alben. 2005 erhielt er einen Korean Music Award in der Kategorie Bester Sänger. Lee ist auch bekannt durch seinen Song „“ (kor. 소녀시대, Sonyeo Sidae) aus dem Jahr 1989.
