| - Leoncio Prado Gutiérrez (Huánuco, 24 de agosto de 1853-Huamachuco, 15 de julio de 1883) fue un militar peruano que participó en diversas guerras contra España, en Cuba y Filipinas. Al final de la Guerra del Pacífico, Leoncio Prado muere en julio de 1883 luego de la batalla de Huamachuco. En su memoria se han creado diversas instituciones peruanas, como el Colegio Militar Leoncio Prado. Su padre fue el presidente Mariano Ignacio Prado, quien manejaba negocios en Chile antes de la guerra. Su hermano Manuel Prado Ugarteche fue dos veces elegido presidente constitucional de la República del Perú. (es)

- Leoncio Prado Gutiérrez (1853-1883) var en peruansk sjöofficer, som utmärkte sig i olika strider, såväl i de olika konflikter som Peru hade som i aktioner utanför Peru. Under Stillahavskrigen avrättades Leoncio Prado den 15 juli 1883 i slaget vid Huamachuco av chilenska armén. Till hans minne grundades militärskolan Colegio Militar Leoncio Prado. Hans far, president Mariano Ignacio Prado, ledde förhandlingarna med Chile. Hans bror Manuel Prado Ugarteche valdes två gånger till konstitutionell president i Republiken Peru. (sv)
