Li Delin (李德林), courtesy name Gongfu (公輔), formally either Duke Wen of Anping (安平文公) (according to the Book of Sui) or Viscount Wen of Cheng'an (成安文子) (according to the Zizhi Tongjian), was an official of the Chinese dynasties Northern Qi, Northern Zhou, and Sui Dynasty. He was a prolific writer whose writing ability was greatly praised by his contemporaries and the emperors that he served under. He began the compilation of the Book of Northern Qi, a work that he was never able to complete, but his son Li Baiyao later completed the work.

  • Li Delin (* 531; † 591) war ein Berater des ersten Sui-Kaisers Wendi. Li Delin war ein enger Berater von Yang Jian, dem späteren ersten Kaisers der Sui-Dynastie. Er wirkte in der Tradition von auf die Wiederherstellung der chinesischen Ökumene als Kulturraum. Zu diesem Zweck arbeitete er die Pläne für den Vorstoß der Sui-Truppen ins Gebiet südlich des Yangzi aus, der mit dem Sieg über die Chen-Dynastie im Jahre 589 in eine tatsächliche Wiederherstellung eines einheitlichen chinesischen Herrschaftsgebietes mündete. In seinem Buch Gedanken zum Mandat des Himmels stellt Li den Herrschaftswechsel von der Nördlichen Zhou-Dynastie zur Sui als gottgewollt dar.
