Lindley Evans CMG (18 November 1895 – 2 December 1982) was a Cape Colony-born Australian composer, pianist and teacher. He is best known for his collaboration with Frank Hutchens in a famous piano duet, which lasted 41 years, and as the ABC's "Mr Melody Man" for 30 years.

November 1895 in Kapstadt; † 2. Dezember 1982 in Greenwich) war ein australischer Pianist, Komponist und Musikpädagoge. Evans sang bereits als Kind im Chor der St. George’s Cathedral in Kapstadt, daneben spielte er auch Orgel und Klavier. Nach der Übersiedlung der Familie 1912 nach Australien studierte er am New South Wales State Conservatorium of Music in Sydney Klavier und Komposition bei Frank Hutchens. Später nahm er noch in England Klavierunterricht bei Tobias Matthay. (de)
