These include the following: * OBE – Officer of the Order of the British Empire * MBE – Member of the Order of the British Empire * BEM – British Empire Medal * QPM – Queen's Police Medal * QVS – Queen's Award for Voluntary Service All of the honours listed above, apart from the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service allow for the use of the abbreviated post-nominal letters after the individuals name. Special Constables are also eligible for the Special Constabulary Long Service Medal after 9 years service as a volunteer Police Officer. (en)
